Mr. Simbarashe P Tsetere

Mr. Simbarashe P Tsetere is the current stores officer at NTBRL and is responsible for inventory management which involves ordering stocks, monitoring their distribution within the lab and ensuring adequate stock levels are maintained. He joined NTBRL in 2020 as a Medical Laboratory Scientist.

Apart from being a stores officer, he is also a member of the Quality team and has amassed vast experience in implementing the ISO15189:2012 requirements and technical expertise in TB DSM, LPA, Culture and Identification.

Mr. Tsetere holds a Bachelor of Medical Laboratory Sciences Honors Degree (UZ) (2015) and a Certificate of competency in Zimbabwe Laboratory Commodities Distribution System (ZiLaCoDs). He has 7 years of experience in the medical laboratory field, prior to joining NTBRL he has worked as a medical laboratory scientist in private care (Genau Pathology, PSMI) as well as public (United Bulawayo Hospital, National Blood Services of Zimbabwe) and NGO set-ups (ICap-ZIMPHIA2020, BRTI).
